Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami and Director General Nafi Pakistan Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said in his statement that the new academic session has started in August for the last three years after the corona epidemic in Punjab, while this year the new academic year has started from April. For the last several years, due to government incompetence, there has been a delay in the availability of new textbooks every year. According to newspaper reports, despite the passage of one and a half months this year, students and parents are facing difficulties in the availability of textbooks, especially for sixth to eighth. Education and health are the key sectors that the government is paying the least attention to, exposing its incompetence. The future of millions of students is at stake due to neglect and neglect of education.

He said that last year the academic session started from August 1 but the textbooks reached the students after September. Due to which the students are facing difficulties in the annual exams. It seems that education is not among the priorities of governments. Summer vacation is starting in two weeks. If the availability of textbooks cannot be made possible, the next two months will be lost for the children.

He demanded the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure the supply of textbooks immediately. Strict disciplinary action should be taken against those responsible for this delay.
